Lisle, IL, 14 FEBRUARY 2005--- The CVS/pharmacy conversion of 1,200 Eckerd Drug stores was completed in record time.
Contributing to the time savings was CVS/pharmacy’s use of QuickSet® Image Merchandising ToolsTM from Gladson Interactive. Gladson’s proprietary software, GIST, transforms planogram data into category Image Reset StripsTM and Image Back TagsTM that ensure merchandising strategies are implemented with 100% accuracy and up to 60% faster.
The Image Reset StripTM is attached to the shelf edge. Merchandisers are then able to easily identify the exact location to place each product by matching the product with its image on the strip. Image Back TagsTM are the solution for setting peg sections faster. After the reset, Image Back TagsTM stay on the pegs so that when a peg product sells out, customers can easily see that the store carries it. They also help the store to order correctly, restock faster and maintain planogram integrity.
“We have used Gladson’s Image Reset StripsTM in store projects for several years. With the conversion of the Eckerd locations, the shelf strips have saved time and helped to insure a high level of accuracy in executing planograms” said Ken Roberts, Vice President of Visual Merchandising at CVS.
Gladson Interactive, the premier provider of product images and content, incorporates its image database of over 600,000 SKUs into all their merchandising tools: QuickSet® Image Reset StripsTM, Image Back TagsTM, Permanent Image StripsTM, Image Shelf TagsTM, Image SignsTM, Image Take-One TicketsTM and more.
