
Chicago, IL, 10 MARCH 2005--- In an awards ceremony held at the Chicago Hilton and Towers, Ted Gladson, founder and president of Gladson Interactive was inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. This award is the most prestigious award honoring Chicago-area entrepreneurs.
Honorees were evaluated and interviewed by a panel of judges composed of previous nominees, business media representatives and executives of sponsoring organizations.
The Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame is celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Founded in 1985, sponsors include Grant Thorton LLP; Levy Venture Management, Inc.; LaSalle Bank; and the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies.
A graduated pharmacist of UIC, Ted Gladson began the company as a merchandising and store design firm with two employees and an office in his basement. Three and a half decades later, Gladson has evolved into a major organization boasting 100+ employees nationwide, a 20,000 square foot facility based in Lisle, IL, and a broad variety of services that satisfy modern-day merchandising needs.
