Insure Your Products Look Great
Oops! Looks like someone forgot to bubble wrap one of the nail polish bottles sent into Gladson Interactive for imagining. Let’s see, there’s six other bottles in this package, they’re not broken, but you can’t read their labels – polish from the broken bottle is dried on them. Looks like we have to wait for the products to be resent before we can shoot them.
This scenario does not happen often, but it does happen. We’d like to stress the importance of us receiving your product in its best condition ready for photographing and product label data capture.
Gladson Interactive receives between three and four thousand products every week for capture. Following these suggestions will help to insure that your products will be expedited in a timely manner:
Always include an Imaging Services Order Form with your package. We need to be able to identify the products – unidentified products become a lower priority. If you need a form, you can call either Customer Service (630-435-2200) or email customerservice@gladson.com, and they will see you receive one.
Perishable products should always be identified as such on the outside of the package so we can handle them appropriately. Instructions for sending perishables are included on the Imaging Services Order Form.
Extra care needs to be taken with products in see-thru packaging, i.e. donuts with a cellophane window. The donuts inside the box need to be whole and look appealing.
Insure your product package integrity – we need to obtain accurate measurements. Crinkled tissue boxes don’t pull out true to size and require photo retouch.
Following these guidelines will help ensure your product reaches Gladson undamaged and that your product images look GREAT!
