Gladson Interactive Names Director of Industry Standards

Gladson Interactive, the leading source for accurate product data and images of consumer products, announces that Milan Vacval has joined the firm in the newly-created position of director of industry standards.

At Gladson, Mr. Vacval will continue in his role as a primary contributor to the GS1's Global Standard Management Process. GS1 is a global organization dedicated to the design and implementation of global standards and solutions to improve the efficiency and visibility of supply and demand chains across sectors and around the world.

In addition, Mr. Vacval will ensure that Gladson's Universal Product Masterfile™ will be aligned with global standard specifications and compatible with leading master data management systems and industry initiatives such as data synchronization, shelf and supply chain replenishment and the management of payment deductions.

Mr. Vacval comes to Gladson from UDEX, where he headed that company's global e-commerce standards initiatives and managed the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) project. Previously, he was senior director of standards and collaboration for JDA Software.
