Gladson, Sara Lee to Present Case Study at JDA Conference

Lisle, Ill., May 11, 2010 --- Two leaders in planogram creation and implementation, Gladson and Sara Lee, are on the agenda at JDA® Software Group’s 20th Annual Global Users’ Conference and will explain how they’ve teamed up to implement JDA’s PIIX (Product and Images by Intactix®) IKB module with Gladson’s service. The presentation will outline how PIIX is used to streamline the process of acquiring and updating product data and images within a JDA® Intactix Knowledge Base (IKB) environment. The conference will be held in Las Vegas, May 16 -19 and the Gladson – Sara Lee session will be at 12:50 on Tuesday, May 18.

PIIX, available to JDA’s IKB clients through Gladson, allows Sara Lee and other users to create centralized product characteristics, current/synchronized image file storage updates and enhanced maintenance and reporting capabilities. The service can be configured and scheduled for daily, nightly or periodic downloads via Gladson’s web delivery service.

Gladson’s senior vice president, Ed Franczek, will discuss traditional approaches to the image update issue and describe the advantages and requirements of the innovative PIIX process.

Bret Thurston, manager of space and assortment planning for Sara Lee, will lay out the challenges his firm faced with maintaining its image library, illustrate the evolution of the PIIX process at Sara Lee and describe the successful results.

“We are very pleased that Gladson and Sara Lee have agreed to present their first-hand experience with PIIX,” said George Mirza of Product Development at JDA. “The case study presents a real-world view of PIIX and how it can benefit all JDA customers that are using the Intactix Knowledge Base.”
