GS1 US Certifies Gladson as First “Data Quality Solution Partner”

Lisle, Ill., June 8, 2010 --- GS1 US™, the not-for-profit organization that advocates for global standards-based supply-chain solutions, has certified Gladson as a GS1 US “Certified Data Quality Solution Partner.” This announcement coincides with the 2010 U Connect Conference® being held June 7 – 10 at the J.W. Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.

This certification provides manufacturers and retailers assurance that product data is accurate and consistent, as measured with GS1 measurement standards. Data audited by Certified Data Quality Solutions Partners will be used to support the 1SYNC® Data Accuracy Scorecard Services, which are currently in implementation stages with major retailers in the U.S. The Scorecard Services compare a retailer’s product dimensional data with the suppliers’ same information provided through the Global Data Synchronization Network™ (GDSN®).

The GS1 US certification recognizes Gladson’s proven expertise in applying GS1 measurement standards to produce and maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date product master data.
